Artwork Experiment Is Shaping Up!

Our commissioned artwork experiment is becoming a big success!  I’ve already received artwork back from two great artists, and I’m simply amazed and what they’ve been able to come up with.  Their artwork is not only great in its own right, but it perfectly encapsulates the prose that it accompanies.  I really look forward to having the Winter issue of Faraway go online, so you all can see some great talent displayed side-by-side.  And perhaps for the Spring issue, we’ll consider a commissioned writing experiment . . .

No Longer Accepting Poetry or Prose for the Winter Issue

Please note: due to the volume of submissions we have already received, we can no longer accept poetry or prose submissions for the winter issue of Faraway.  Thanks to everyone who submitted!

We are, however, still accepting submissions of artwork.  Send us your artwork today, or take a look at our commissioned artwork experiment!

Artwork Still Needed

Due to the massive volume of written material we’ve received, we’re asking potential contributors of short stories and poetry to submit with the understanding that their material may not make it into the current issue, but will be held in reserve for a subsequent issue later this year.

What we are really looking for at the moment is artwork.  Submit your artwork today, artwork of any kind, for publication in the next issue of Faraway for free.  Send your submissions to FarawayJournal@gmail.com

We are no longer accepting submissions of any kind for the Fall 2008 issue.  You may still submit for the Winter 2008/2009 issue.
